<p>The invention relates to a method for crushing slack with simultaneous desulphurisation and subsequent dechroming and production of hydraulic binding agents or mixed cement components, which is carried out by mixing fluid blast furnace slag and a further slag chosen from the group: fluid steel slag, converter slag, LD slag, or electric furnace slag, whereby the S content of the blast furnace slag is converted to SO2 by the FeO of the further slag. Said SO2 is removed in the gas phase, whereupon metallic Fe settles out. The slag mixture is powdered and oxidised by H2O and/or H2O vapour, whereby FeO+Fe2O3 (magnetite) are formed with idiomorphic inclusion of Cr, the slag droplets and superheated water vapour are cooled to temperatures between 350 DEG and 600 DEG and the at least partly glass-like hardened and powdered solids are separated from the superheated steam and the crystalline magnetite phase separated by classification or magnetic separation.</p> |
