The lateral sides (13, 14) of the screen web (2) are without any profiles for securing the screen (1) to a window. The upper fastener profile includes a hook and loop fastener tape (9) for securing it to the building. The screen comprises a rectangular web of shade or reflective material which has a fastener profile (3, 4) on two opposing ends for securing it to a window. The sides with the fastener profiles attached form the top and bottom sides of the screen. An independent claim is also included for a method for securing the sun screen to the inside wall of a building by securing it to fasteners provided on the horizontal beams of the window.
