摘要 PURPOSE: A battery charging circuit is provided to convert properly an operation mode of a Geyserville CPU within a range of having little effect on a computer performance, drag up a charge ratio more than a set value within a short time, and then convert the operation mode into an adaptor mode if a remaining charge amount of the battery is less than a set value. CONSTITUTION: The computer system comprises a system controller(11), a power controller(12), a Geyserbille control logic device(13), a voltage regulator(14), a CPU(15) and a battery voltage detector(16). The system controller(11) outputs an interrupt signal by detecting a variation of an input power source. The power controller(12) outputs a signal for notifying an adaptor mode or a battery mode based on the interrupt signal. The Geyserbille control logic device(13) outputs a signal for controlling an operation mode of the voltage regulator(14) according to the signal transmitted from the power controller(12), and outputs a signal for controlling the operation mode of the CPU(15). The voltage regulator(14) outputs different core voltages according to an adaptor mode or a battery mode.
