PURPOSE: A universal serial bus having a reset switch is provided to emulate plug and unplug process by equipping an unplug switch to the USB device. CONSTITUTION: A USB cable(30) is composed of 4 lines, Vdd, Vss, D+ and D-, and operated by a power supply line which provides a power supply from a USB host(10) to a USB device(20). The USB device(20) is equipped with electronic devices, and includes a USB internal module(22), an unplug switch(26) and an unplug control unit(24). The USB internal module(22) is formed according to functions of the USB device(20). The unplug switch(26) is connected to the unplug control unit(24) in case that the USB device(20) is the USB hub or the USB function device. The unplug switch(26) receives a switching signal, and generates a reset signal in case that the USB device(20) is a semiconductor device.
