PURPOSE: A cooling system for a train air conditioner is provided to improve the cooling efficiency of an air conditioner while preventing the propagation of bacteria caused by the stagnant condensed water. CONSTITUTION: A pair of condensers(2) is installed to each of corresponding compressors(1), and dryers(3), capillary tubes(4) and evaporators(5) are connected through a refrigerant pipe. The resultant structure further includes a liquid separator(6) and a high/low pressure switch(7) additionally connected thereto. The condensers and evaporators further include condenser motors(8) and blowers(9), and the evaporator is provided with a drain pan(10) having a heater(11) wound with an electric hot wire(12). A temperature sensor(13) is connected to the heater, and the resultant structure is connected to a controller(14). The operation of the heater is controlled at a temperature higher than a predetermined level, and the drain pan has bi-directional discharge units(15) having discharge fans(16), respectively. |
