PURPOSE: A portable VOD service terminal is provided so that a VOD signal can be transmitted by using software, instead of using a special chip or hardware. CONSTITUTION: A wireless module(310) transmits/receives a wireless signal through an antenna(300). A wireless modem(320) demodulates the input signal from the wireless module(310) or modulates a signal to be output to the wireless module(310). A processor(330) processes a communication signal and a VOD service signal from the wireless modem(320), and also processes a transmission signal. A display unit(340) displays the video signal from the processor(330). An audio signal output unit(350) converts the audio signal from the processor(330) to an analog signal. In order to process the VOD signal by using the main processor(330) without an additional hardware, the video and audio signal processing, and synchronization and timing operations are performed in the processor(330) by using software. |
