METHOD FOR MEASURING ADHESIVE FRICTION BETWEEN ROADWAY AND VEHICLE TIRES

PURPOSE: A method for measuring adhesive friction between roadway and vehicle tires is provided to determine a grip margin and a grip potential which are available by generating a signal which indicates a force of tangent direction on a contact surface. CONSTITUTION: A tire includes a sacrifice leave(2) adjacent to an ordinary leave(1). The first process generates the first contact factor whose contact surface slides on the ground during passing through a contact region. The second process generates the first signal which indicates a force of tangent direction on the contact surface. The third process detects a variation of the first signal which specifies a grip loss. The fourth process generates a value of grip potential produced about the tire.
