摘要 PURPOSE: To provide an ink concentration adjusting mechanism capable of preventing a medium, such as a photoreceptor where an image is developed from being soiled even if ink is circulated in order to adjust the concentration at non-printing time. CONSTITUTION: When a print finish instruction is transmitted from a controller part 10, a developing control part 40 decides whither ink concentration is proper. When it is out of a proper range, a valve part 28 for switching circulating path is turned on, in order to continue ink concentration adjusting processing, even after the finish of printing. The ink circulation path is switched to make the ink flow directly to an ink tank part 24, and the ink concentration adjusting processing is performed in this state. The present concentration X% is detected by a transmission type concentration sensor part 27 and transmitted to the control part 40. The control part 40 accesses a concentration adjusting table part 41 to obtain data N% to M% within the proper concentration range recorded in the part 41 and compares them. When X%>M%, ink diluting solution is supplied by through L ml amount by a supply pump part 22N, and when X%<N%, ink dye is supplied through K ml amount by a supply pump part 22C.
