DRUM TYPE HARD COPY DEVICE

PURPOSE: Disclosed are a device for storing and retaining the positions of a drum printer drum and a printing medium. CONSTITUTION: A printing medium cartridge(501) for the drum type hard copy device comprises a printing medium feed part(502) in a drum(511). The printable sheet length of a printing medium(502A) is pulled out of the drum through a long groove(507), so that individual printed matters can be obtained by use of a drum outside surface(505) as platen. A printed matter is removed from the platen, and the next sheet length suitable to the following print cycle automatically wound successively on the outside surface of the drum is pulled out of the drum(511). A control code means for printer is provided on a carriage.
