PURPOSE: A system for monitoring by using an optical fiber brag grating is provided to precisely measure a deformation degree of a structure in realtime by displaying the deformation degree corresponding to the comparison of a signal level of a reflection wave generated by the optical fiber brag grating with a reference signal level. CONSTITUTION: A system for monitoring by using an optical fiber brag grating includes a light source generating element(1) for generating light of a wide band, a coupler(3) for dividing light applied from the light source generating element to output to an optical fiber brag grating(4) and a second receiving element(5) and outputting reflection light applied from the optical brag grating to a first receiving element(6), the optical fiber brag grating for reflecting light of a specific wavelength applied from the coupler, the first receiving element for converting a signal level of the reflection light applied from the coupler to an electric signal to output, the second receiving element for converting a signal level of a central wavelength of the light applied from the coupler to an electric signal to output, a comparing element(7) for comparing signals applied from the first and second receiving elements to output a detection signal corresponding to the comparison, a data storing element(9) for storing structure deformation data according to the detection signal level, and a controller(8) for reading the structure deformation data from the data storing element on the basis of the detection signal applied from the comparing element and displaying the data via a display(10)
