摘要 PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing phosphorylcholine having two different unsaturated fatty acids is provided to reduce the generation of by-products and to improve a low production yield by using fatty acid imidazolide or anhydride instead of fatty acid chloride. CONSTITUTION: Phosphorylcholine having two different unsaturated fatty acids represented by the formula (II) is manufactured by the following steps of: i) reacting unsaturated fatty acid of the formula (II) with N,N-carbonyldiimidazole of the formula (III), in the presence of organic solvent, to obtain fatty acid imidazolide of the formula (IV) and reacting fatty acid imidazolide of the formula (IV) with sn-glycero-3-phosphorylcholine-Cdcl2 of the formula (V), in the presence of organic base, to synthesize 1-acyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine of the formula (VI); ii) reacting 1-acyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine of the formula (VI) with unsaturated fatty acid of the formula (VII), in the presence of organic solvent and bases, to obtain phosphorylcholine of the formula (I) having two different unsaturated fatty acids.
