PURPOSE: An apparatus for monitoring processor states is provided to use a processor selection input circuit and a debug port connection selector, so as to monitor the states of at least more than processors mounted on a PBA(Printed Board Assembly) with one debug port. CONSTITUTION: A debug port(26) mounted on a PBA(Printed Board Assembly) monitors states of the first and the second processor in a user test device. An RS232C serial communication interface(24) performs a serial communication interface between the first/the second processor and the debug port(26). A switch supplies a logical state, depending on whether a user selects a processor requiring a processor state monitoring. A debug port connection selector(22) selectively connects the debug port(26) to the first and the second processor, according to the logical state of the switch.
