PURPOSE: A scale scatter preventing apparatus of a scarfing machine is provided to prevent the damage of circumferential facilities by preventing the scale generated in a scarfing work from being scattered to the outside. CONSTITUTION: The scarfing machine is characterized by consisting of a cool water supply tube (4) supplying cooling water to the inner surface of the shutter for preventing the shutter from being overheated, a scale scatter preventing apparatus of the scarfing machine includes an injection pipe (10) having a plurality of injection nozzles installed in one side of the cooling water supply pipe for injecting cooling water to prevent the scale from adhering to the surface of the cooling water supply pipe; a supporting frame having a width variable shutter (30) installed in the outside of the shutter for being selectively lifted by a cylinder (70), installed in the end of a chain (31) installed in the cylinder, and having a plurality of guide rods; a plurality of supporting beams positioned between the guide rods and firmly fixed at the side of the shutter by a fixing frame; and a lifting beam installed between the supporting beams for being lifted with receiving the guidance of the guide rods and having a roll installed in the bottom surface.
