APPARATUS FOR FORMING CENTERING FOR OPENING TAPPING HOLE OF BLAST FURNACE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for forming a centering for opening a tapping hole of a blast furnace is provided to accurately open a tapping hole by forming a hole at center of outer side of a blast furnace tapping hole, thereby opening a hole using a tapping bar. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for forming a centering for opening a tapping hole of a blast furnace comprises a tapping hole surface pressing tip (1) which contacts on outer surface of the tapping hole and forms a through hole at center thereof, a sliding means (2) which is inserted into the through hole, thus slided into it, and has a through hole inside, and an excavation rod (3) which is rotated with mounted on a through hole of the sliding means (2), and with an end part of which an excavation bit (30) is assembled, wherein the excavation bit (30) forms a hole at center of outer side of the tapping hole. A tapping hole is accurately opened by opening the hole after forming a center at the tapping hole using a tapping bar before opening the tapping hole. Therefore, damage of the tapping hole can be prevented.
