DRIVE CONTROLLING METHOD OF TERRY MOTION MEMBER OF CLOTH-MOVING PILE LOOM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deviation of pile height formed at the start of a loom from the height in stationary operation in a cloth-moving pile loom having a terry motion member driven by a dedicated driving motor and to enable simple and easy setting of the loom for the prevention of the trouble. SOLUTION: The cloth-moving pile loom has delivery-side and winding-side terry motion members driven through driving mechanisms by dedicated driving motors different from the main driving motor of the loom. In starting the loom from the stop state, the driving mode of the terry motion members with the driving motors in a prescribed period from the start of the loom is made to be different from the driving mode in the stationary operation.
