<p>Two twelve volt batteries 6, 7 supply power to a 24 volt D.C. motor 5, which drives hydraulic pump 1, which pumps oil from a tank 4 to hydraulic turbines 2,3, driving an output shaft 9. A 24 volt generator 8 is provided for charging the batteries. Radiators 17,18 and a cooling fan 19 are also provided. The plant is described as a turbo-prop engine for land sea and air vehicles. It is stated that once started the plant requires no outside supply of electricity, no fuel, and no coolant, that the plant is simpler to maintain than internal combustion engines, that there is no noise pollution, and that the state of the ozone layer is improved by 90%.</p> |
