摘要

Vehicle steering system (15) receives torques from steering wheel (11) and also from motor (14) directed by calculator (10). Calculator receives steering wheel torque and vehicle speed data (12,13) and computes assistance required with aid of integral first order low pass filter applied to the vehicle speed which retards rapid speed signal changes and thus reduces abrupt changes in steering assistance.
