Absorption structure and process for producing thereof

The invented absorption structure (11) forming a part of an absorption body of absorption articles such as baby napkins, sanitary towels, panties protectors, protectors from incontinence and the like articles consists of an upper inlet absorption layer (14) and a bottom absorption layer (16), between which there is disposed an intermediate layer (15) containing a super-absorbing material. The intermediate layer (15) containing the super-absorbing material has density within 0.2 to 1.0 g/cme3, particularly 0.3 to 0.7 g/cme3, the inlet absorption layer (14) density ranges within 0.05 to 0.4 g/cme3, particularly 0.1 to 0.3 g/cme3, and in the most preferred modification 0.15 to 0.25 g/cme3, whereby the bottom absorption layer (16) density is in the range of 0.1 to 0.5 g/cme3, particularly 0.15 to 0.4 g/cme3, and in the most preferred modification 0.2 to 0.3 g/cme3. The proposed absorption structure (11) is manufactures by laying the middle intermediate layer (15), containing the super-absorbing material between the pre-moistened upper inlet absorption layer (14) and the pre-moistened bottom absorption layer (16) of defibered cellulose pulp moistened at least to humidity of 10 percent or of thin paper moistened at least to humidity of 20 percent based on the total weight of the cellulose pulp or thin paper in dry state. Subsequently so composed absorption structure (11) is compressed between one or several pairs of heated cylinders (6, 7), whereby moisture evaporates due to the action of the heated cylinder (6, 7) heat in the immediate proximity thereof and condenses in the middle intermediate layer (15) of the super-absorbing material in greater depth of this material. The intermediate layer (15) is thus reinforced to form a stable layer and to joint itself with surrounding absorption layers of the cellulose pulp or thin paper.
