PURPOSE: A tantalum capacitor obtained by using another metal as a parent metal except tantalum and coating tantalum composite powder on a parent metal is provided which has an effect on reducing the manufacturing cost while having the same performance as conventional tantalum capacitors. CONSTITUTION: This tantalum capacitor is prepared by coating tantalum powder(12) having a thickness of 0.2 to 0.3 microns on a parent metal(11) having a particle size of 2 to 3 microns.
