High-speed spherical screw

The suggested high-speed ball screw is intended particularly for ensuring increased velocity of feeds in machine tools. It consists of a threaded shaft (1), a nut body (2) with at least one longitudinal transfer channel (7) for reverse motion of balls (4) and face end covers (3). A shaped shoulder (9) with rounded-off outer surface is performed on each face surface (8) of the nut body (2). The shoulder (9) fits in a recess (10) made in contiguous face cover (3). In the cover (3) there is further performed at least one leading groove (11) of variable depth and following up with the nut body (2) internal thread (6) falling therein via the shaped shoulder (9), and at least one transfer groove (12) the plane of symmetry (13) thereof is tangential to pitch circle (14) of the balls (4) and passes through axis (15) of the longitudinal transfer channel (7).
