<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new derivative useful as an agricultural and horticultural insecticide suitable for controlling insect pests, such as agricultural insect pests, forestry insect pests, horticultural insect pests, sanitary insect pests, and nematodes, which injure paddy rice, fruit trees, vegetables, other crops, flowering plants, and so on. SOLUTION: A compound of formula I R1 to R3 are each H, a (halogenated) 3 to 6C cycloalkyl, or the like, provided that R1 and R2 are simultaneously not H; HeT is a group of formula II [(p) is 0 or 1], or the like; X is a halogen, cyano, nitro, or the like; (n) is 0 to 3; B1 to B4 are each C or N; Y is a halogen, cyano, nitro, phenyl, or the like; (m) is 1 to 5; z1 and Z2 are each 0 or S}, for example, 3-[4-(heptafluoro-2-propyl)-2-methylphenyl]aminocarbonyl-4- pyridinecarboxylic acid 2-propylamide. The compound of formula I can be produced, for example, by a method comprising obtaining a compound of formula IV from a diester compound of formula III (R is a 1 to 3C alkyl) as a starting substance.</p> |
