PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic pavement having the same or more coefficient of sliding friction with conventional pavements such as an asphalt pavement. SOLUTION: This elastic pavement 10 is a tabular form having 20-50 mm in thickness and a binder is mixed in elastic aggregate and compressed, heated, and cured. The repulsive elasticity of the pavement is no more than 50%, and the coefficient of sliding friction in the wet condition is made larger than 0.3. In this way, the pavement 10 is provided with a noise absorbing property and drainability, and can brake a vehicle on a wet road face in the rain simular to a vehicle on a dry road face. Hence, increase of a stopping distance at the time when stopping a vehicle can be restricted and hence, the driving stability in the rain can be secured. In order to make the repulsive elasticity of the pavement lower than 50%, it necessary that it includes at least one kind having a repulsive elastic aggregate having a repulsive elasticity lower than 40% or includes at least one binder having an attenuation coefficient tanδmore than 0.7 in the practical temperature range (-30-+100 deg.C).
