PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frosted glass product with the same appearance and feel as those obtained by a product manufactured by the chemical frosting treatment, by sand-blasting a glass product by using an abrasive material of small particle size, grinding the same with a brush, and further washing the product with the water, or grinding the same with the brush while applying the water thereto. SOLUTION: The feel same as a glass product manufactured by the chemical frosting treatment is provided by the surface roughness Ra of approximately 0.5-1.2μm, an abrasive material is selected from ceramic, glass or the like, the glass surface is frosted, and the abrasive material is very fine particles of less than #220. Al2O3 of #400 is most preferably used as the abrasive material so far as SiC and glass beads have same size. Further by executing the washing, the fine glass powder can be completely removed. The washing process improves the safety in work and is effective for the environmental problem, and further the transfer printing can be executed because the very fine irregularity can be obtained. This method is valuable as a manufacturing method of the frosted glass product, and contributes to the industry.
