PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window structure in which a window frame to be used in a general window structure can be used for installation of a window in a recessed part without separately providing a receiving member at a side wall part of the recessed part. SOLUTION: A recessed part having a U-shaped cross section retracted from an outer all is provided in the outer wall, and a window 5 is provided at a retracted position in the recessed part. Recessed part outer walls 2, 2 are provided as a right and a left side wall parts of the recessed part. Window installing members 4, 4 are provided on the outer surface side of square timbers 3, 3 of the recessed part outer walls 2, 2 to be protruded to face each other. A right and a left side parts of a sash frame 51 are respectively fixed to mutually facing surfaces of the window installing members 4, 4 and their surfaces facing the outer side of the recessed part by junction members 61, 62. A casing 6 is installed on the sash frame 51 to hide junction parts defined by the junction members 61, 62 between the side parts of the sash frame 51 and the surfaces of the window installing members 4, 4 facing the outer side of the recessed part.
