PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of materials by lessening a synthetic resin material needed for forming a reinforcing member and also to reinforce efficiently a hollow construction with the reinforcing member excellent also in strength. SOLUTION: In regard to a reinforcing structure for reinforcing a hollow construction, a reinforcing member 11 made of synthetic resin is fitted along the longitudinal direction of a hollow chamber of the hollow construction. The reinforcing member 11 has integrally a base part 12 formed in the shape of a flat plate along the longitudinal direction of the hollow chamber, a plurality of hollow block parts 20 each projected on one side of the base part 12 and made hollow with a space part opening on the other side of the base part 12 and longitudinal and lateral ribs 25 and 26 provided respectively on the outer sides of these hollow block parts 20.
