PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove remaining strong acidic ionized water and strong alkaline ionized water from an electrolytic bath, and to secure the safety by removing a fear of erroneous use. SOLUTION: In an ionized water production device 11, when a first mode is changed to a second mode, a third mode by which the inside of the electrolytic bath 18 is cleaned, is performed. In the third mode, an electromagnetic three-way valve 48 is driven and a connection pipe 47 is communicated with a second discharge pipe 15, and these pipes become a flow path of water in a second electrolytic dissociation room 38. In accordance with feed of raw water into the electrolytic bath 18, the remaining strong acidic ionized water and strong alkaline ionized water are discharged through a first discharge pipe 14 and the second discharge pipe 15. After completion of the third mode, the mode is automatically changed to the second mode and an operation under the mode is practiced.
