PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm a rice cooking process from a place away from a cooker body by spacing each display element for cooking, steaming and insulation in the control display section, varying the colors of the display elements and displaying a plurality of display elements including one for an ongoing process and one for the next process a prescribed period of time before the start of the next process. SOLUTION: The control display section 4 is made up of a rice cooling button 6 incorporating a rice cooking display 5 of a red lamp, a presetting button 8 incorporating a timer setting display 7 of a blue lamp and an insulation button 10 incorporating an insulation display 9 of a green lamp, an off button 11, a menu button 12 for selecting a menu item, a time setting buttons 13 and 14, and a display section 15. The display section 15 displays a cooking menu 16, a rice type 17, and a cooking speed 18, and has an orange lamp streaming display 19 and a time display section 20. The ongoing process is displayed by a special display element for the process in a display color, and when transition to the next process is approaching, a display element for the next process is also made to color simultaneously.
