METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SEPARATING AND RECOVERING POLYETHYLENE RESIN AND VINYL CHLORIDE RESIN FROM NUGGET REFUSE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and effectively separate and recover a polyethylene resin and a vinyl chloride resin from a mixture of both resins called as nugget refuse. SOLUTION: Water is stored in a cylindrical rotary body 2 like a kiln and nugget refuse 100 is fed in this water. The polyethylene resin crushed matter 101 floating on the surface of the water is allowed to flow out of the cylindrical rotary body along with water from the inlet side of the cylindrical rotary body to be recovered. The polyvinyl chloride crushed matter 102 sedimented on the bottom part of the cylindrical rotary body is allowed to flow out of the cylindrical rotary body along with water from the outlet side of the cylindrical rotary body by the spiral means 20 provided to the inner wall surface of the cylindrical rotary body to be recovered.
