发明名称 PRODUCTION OF FINE SPHERICAL METAL POWDER
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily execute the production at a low cost by passing powder produced by an atomizing method with a liquid. as an atomizing medium through a region heated to the temp. equal to or above the melting point. SOLUTION: The powder used for a raw material stock is the fine one obtd. by a liq. atomizing method in which a high speed liq. flow is sprayed on a molten metal flow, and it is atomized, preferably, by a water atomizing method. After the execution by the water atomizing method, since its cooling after the atomizing is speedy, and solidification occurs before the molten metal is spheroidized to form into an irregular shape, preferably, pulverization is executed, and it is further refined. Furthermore, in the case classifying treatment is executed after the pulverization, the yield of the fine metal powder can be improved. As the high temp. region through which this powder is passed, a plasma region generated by a plasma process or a region generated by a burner using combustion gas can be used. Moreover, gaseous hydrogen is preferably added to the atmosphere in which the high temp. region is produced or the circumference thereof.
