PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circulation treatment device capable of keeping stable cleaning performance for a long period and improved in durability and a cleaning method of an electrode used for the same. SOLUTION: A granular blast material 33 is provided in a filter vessel 14 having an aluminum electrode 18 and bath water is vigorously discharged to the filter vessel 14 by increasing the flow rate with a nozzle 32. As a result, the blast material 33 in the filter vessel 14 is moved and brought into contact with the aluminum electrode 18 at an irregular interval to prevent the sticking of scale such as aluminum hydroxide on the surface of the aluminum electrode 18 and to remove the scale such as aluminum hydroxide stuck to the surface of the aluminum electrode 18 and the purification performance is kept for a long period.
