PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the supporting stiffness of a rear swing arm to an engine without increasing weight, in a motorcycle wherein a front end portion of the rear swing arm journaling a rear wheel is supported to the engine supported by a vehicular body frame, through a supporting shaft so as to freely rock. SOLUTION: In this supporting structure, upper end portions of a pair of right and left brackets 52, 53 are respectively fixed at both ends of a supporting shaft 23 supported by an engine E, and a cross pipe 54 connecting both lower end portions of the brackets 52, 53 is fixed to the engine E below the supporting shaft 23. A pair of right and left journaling parts 63, 64 provided at an front end portion of a rear swing arm 22 are swingably supported between both brackets 52, 53 and the engine E.
