PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition which contains a polyphenylene ether-based resin, a polystyrene-based resin and a glass fiber as essential components and which has excellent general mechanical properties such as flexural strength, tensile strength and impact resistance and excellent flowability and has excellent fatigue resistance to repeated stress, and also provide its preparation method and a pump part using the thermoplastic resin composition. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin composition contains 5-94 wt.% polyphenylene ether-based resin, 5-94 wt.% polystyrene-based resin and 1-50 wt.% glass fiber and is obtained by kneading these compositions at 330-370 deg.C. The glass fiber in the thermoplastic resin composition desirably has an average fiber length of 150-500μm.
