PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sink and a washstand that can be cleaned easily and is resistant to staining. SOLUTION: This sink is equipped with a bowl body, on the surface of which a glaze layer is formed, a water faucet device arranged so as to land water on the bowl face of the bowl body, and a scupper arranged on the bowl face of the bowl body. In this case, the surface roughness Ra of the glaze layer surface of at least the bowl face is less than 0.07μm as measured with a stylus type surface roughness measuring instrument (JIS-B0561).
