PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator capable of holding many products even after a squeezing operation and achieving a uniform and solid makeup effect. SOLUTION: Applicator devices 6, 105, 206 for products M, V such as cosmetics are provided with grip members 3, 103, 203 and applicator members 4, 104, 204 attached to the grip members, with the applicator members including lines of bristles 9, 109, 209 formed from a mixture of groups of bristles of at least two different kinds. In that case, the first group of bristles has at least one left-handed spiral form P4-P25 across at least a longitudinal portion of each bristle, and the second group of bristles has at least one right-handed spiral form R4-R25 across a longitudinal portion of each bristle.
