PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress penetration of a rocker part and a center pillar into a vehicle cabin and a collapse of a seat mounting bracket, secure a space in the vehicle cabin, and prevent tilting of a seat, in side impact. SOLUTION: In this body structure, a seat mounting bracket 5 is arranged at a lower part or a center pillar 3, and a reinforcing member 9 connecting a rocket part 2 and a side member 8 is arranged on a lower face of a floor panel 4 in a position below this seat mounting bracket 5. By connecting the rocket part 2 and the side member 8 with the reinforcing member 9 at the lower part of the center pillar 3, bending of the rocker part 2 into a vehicle cabin and a deformation of the floor panel 4 are suppressed, penetration of the rocker part 2 and the center pillar 3 into the vehicle cabin is suppressed, and a collapse of the seat mounting bracket 5 is prevented, in side impact.
