PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent positional shift of an orifice from the central position at the forward end part of an ink tank by decomposing image data into a print dot array group of minimum interval determined by resolution in the main scanning direction and a print dot array group of minimum interval determined by resolution in the sub-scanning direction and distributing a printer head. SOLUTION: A print data processing section 2 processes print data received from a print data storing buffer 1 and transfers processed data to an image data storing section 3. In order to drive two print heads 9 disposed in the main scanning direction, respectively, by reading out image data from the image data storing section 3, an image data distributing section 4 decomposes image data into a print dot array group of minimum interval determined by resolution in the main scanning direction and a print dot array group of minimum interval determined by resolution in the sub-scanning direction and distributes the printer head 9.
