PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an adhesive sheet for ink jet recording having little curl caused by temperature and humidity changes of the surrounding environment and excellent in working suitability and quality. SOLUTION: In an adhesive sheet for ink jet recording constituted by laminating a base surface material for ink jet recording, an adhesive layer and peeling paper, the adhesive sheet for ink jet recording is made to have a ratio of a tensile elongation at break in the MD direction of the peeling paper to that in the CD direction of 1.10-3.50.
