ANTITUMOR AGENT, AND FOOD AND DRINK CONTAINING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antitumor agent containing as an effective component a water-soluble ingredient derived from natural products, having excellent antitumor activity, hardly showing toxicity such as cytotoxicity and advantageous for manufacturing tablets or the like, and to provide food and drink expected to have antitumor effect. SOLUTION: A water-soluble antitumor agent is prepared by making the agent include as an effective ingredient an extract obtained through the extraction of cultured products at a generally allowed hot water extraction temperature of >=80 deg.C which are obtained by culturing microorganisms belonging to Bacillus subtilis. The dietary and drinking products are prepared by including the same water soluble antitumor agent.
