摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge bubbles and dust in a head well by sealing an ink supply tube by pressing it externally, reducing the pressure while covering the plane having a nozzle head hole with a cap and then discharging residual bubbles and dust in the ink supply passage from the nozzle hole. SOLUTION: When an ink jet head is replaced, a cap 61 covering a nozzle hole 50a or the periphery thereof is removed. A supply tube 21 is then deformed elastically by pressing it externally through an ink sealing means 30 including a lever being oscillated through rotation of a disc by a motor and the ink supply passage in the supply tube 21 is sealed. After an ink jet head is replaced by a new one under that state, the cap 61 is fixed again and the pressure is reduced in a space defined by an ink jet head 50 and a cap 61 by operating a pressure reducing pump 80 while retaining sealed state of the supply tube 21 thus discharging at least bubbles and dust in the ink supply passage.
