PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition containing a liquid crystal polymer in a state sufficiently uniformly dispersed in a polyolefin matrix and having excellent mechanical strength and dimensional stability. SOLUTION: The objective resin composition is composed of a polyolefin, a wholly aromatic liquid crystal polymer and a semi-aromatic liquid crystal polymer and/or an acid-modified polyolefin added as a solubilizing agent. The liquid crystal polymer is uniformly dispersed in the polyolefin by transmitting the shearing stress and elongation stress applied to the polyolefin in high efficiency to the wholly aromatic liquid crystal polymer by setting the melt viscosity of the polyolefin measured at 290 deg.C under a shearing rate of 100/sec to 1,000-7,000 poise.
