PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair dressing agent having excellent hair-dressing performance, giving little stickiness to the hair and imparting hair with smoothness, combing easiness and luster by making the agent include a glucomannan and a polyether compound produced by the addition polymerization of propylene oxide and ethylene oxide to a polyhydric alcohol skeleton. SOLUTION: The objective hair dressing agent contains (A) a glucomannan, preferably Rheolex RX(R) and (B) a polyether compound produced by the addition polymerization of propylene oxide and/or ethylene oxide to a polyhydric alcohol skeleton, preferably by the successive addition polymerization of 40-80 mol of propylene oxide and 3-10 mol of ethylene oxide to a pentaerythritol skeleton. The contents of the component A and the component B in the above hair dressing agent are preferably 0.1-5.0 wt.% and 0.1-10.0 wt.%, respectively.
