PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change over the cooling water piping system for the lower part of a hopper to the optimum piping row corresponding to a molding material or a molding condition. SOLUTION: A cooling water piping system for cooling the lower part of a hopper 12 supplying a molding material to a heating cylinder 10, that is, the vicinity of the hopper hole of the hopper has a front piping row 14a and a rear piping row 14b and manual valves 15-18 for supplying and discharging cooling water with respect to these piping rows are changed over to be capable of selectively using only one of or both of the front and rear piping rows 14a, 14b. A selection table 1 for displaying the optimum piping row matched with a molding condition, for example, high cycle molding or energy-saving molding or a stabilizing purpose of plasticization at every molding material is retrieved and the manual valves 15-18 are changed over to optimaly control the temp. of the lower part of the hopper.
