PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood crusher capable of efficiently crushing and cutting even wood having a relatively large diameter and having even function grasping a stump having spreading roots to pull out the same from soil. SOLUTION: A pair of crushing arms 70a, 70b have leading end parts formed into an almost T-shape and having grasping/cutting/crushing parts 9a', 9b grasping and crushing wood provided thereto in the width direction thereof and press cutting parts 7a, 7b crossing the grasping/cutting/crushing parts 9a', 9b at a right angle are provided to the leading end part s of the crushing arms 70a, 70b along the longitudinal direction of the crushing arms and the grasping/ cutting/crushing parts 9a', 9b in the width direction and the pressing and cutting parts 7a, 7b cross each other at a right angle in close vicinity to each other to constitute an almost T-shaped crushing and cutting part. The crushing arms 70a, 70b are opened and closed by driving the rear ends of the crushing arms 70a, 70b by a hydraulic cylinder 4 not only to grasp and crush wood by the grasping/cutting/crushing parts 9a', 9b but also to cut the same by the press cutting parts 7a, 7b.
