PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a presoaking detergent composition which is useful for clothes and can exhibit an excellent washing property against the stains of the clothes such as undershirts or blouses, wherein the stains comprise aged sebum accumulated by repeated wearing and washing treatments, by using a specific nonionic surfactant and a lipase without using an anionic surfactant such as an LAS. SOLUTION: This presoaking composition contains (a) 12 to 35 wt.% of a nonionic surfactant having an average alkyl chain length of 12 to 14 carbon atoms and having polyoxyethylene chains and polyoxypropylene chains in amounts of 4 to 10 mol.% and 0 to 5 mol.%, respectively, and (b) 0. 1 to 5 wt.% of a lipase. Therein, an anionic surfactant is substantially not contained.
