PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for restoring an ink-jet head whereby air bubbles, dust, etc., in the head can be surely discharged. SOLUTION: A lip part of a cap 61 for sucking is pressed to a face where head nozzle holes 50a are formed, or its periphery, thereby providing a state without a gap. A space between the cap 61 for sucking and the face with the head nozzle holes 50a or its periphery is turned into a sealed state. The space is reduced in pressure, so that air bubbles or dust remaining in an ink-jet head 50 are discharged. The lip part is butted against or approached to the face with the head nozzle holes 50a or its periphery, thereby forming a gap to the cap 61 for sucking and the face with the head nozzle holes 50a or its periphery. The space between the face with the head nozzle holes 50a or its periphery, and the cap 61 for sucking is reduced in pressure, so that ink drops adhering to the face with the head nozzle holes or its periphery are removed. |
