PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a hemming forming in one process, at a high accuracy with a saved energy and, when a head is supported by a moving mechanism such as a robot, to reduce a burden of the moving mechanism and furthermore, to reduce an abrasion at a connecting part of the head and the moving mechanism or the like. SOLUTION: A head is traveled along a terminal edge of a work composed of two panel sheets and, a flange part formed at one panel terminal edge is bent so that the other panel terminal edge is hugged inside and processed. In a device like this, a stand-by bending member 27 and a receiving roller 8 are arranged in front of the head 1 forwarding direction with a larger opening than the work thickness. A pair of main bending rollers 6, 7 are parallely arranged at the rear of the head 1 forwarding direction with the opening of the work thickness or more. Under this condition, the rollers 6, 7 and 8 other than the stand-by bending member 27, are self driven so as to self-advance the head 1 for performing a hug processing.
