PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to separate the paper stuck to both surfaces of gypsum lath boards and gypsum simultaneously with crushing of the gypsum lath boards and to discretely recycle or discard these by rotating both crushing rolls facing each other at an equal speed in opposite directions to each other when crushing the gypsum lath boards with a twin screw type crushing device. SOLUTION: The twin screw type crushing device compresses and shears the gypsum lath boards with the two crushing rolls 1 facing each other, crushes the gypsum 4 sandwiched by the paper 5 on both surfaces and peels and drops the gypsum from the paper 5. In such a case, both crushing rolls 1 for crushing the gypsum lath boards are rotated at the equal speed in the directions opposite to each other. As a result, the shearing force of both crushing rolls 1 is lowered and the paper 5 is curved to an outer side and is passed therebetween. The gypsum adhered to the paper 5 is scraped off by two opposite auxiliary rolls 2 disposing on a downstream side. The paper 5 on both sides separated from the gypsum 4 is thereafter introduced to the outside of the device by right and left comb blade type screens 3. As a result, the gypsum 4 and the paper 5 are discretely recycled or discarded.
