<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method for storing a potato for increasing the sugar content of the potato by which the sugar content is extremely increased compared to a general storing method and a CA storage, and thereby the enlargement of the consumption of the potato is caused. SOLUTION: A storage house 6 having a cooling chamber 3 arranged next to a storing chamber 1 of a potato, capable of storing ice 2 as it is, capable of keeping the temperature of the storing chamber 1 so as to be 0-2 deg.C by connecting both the chambers so as to be able to communicate to each other, and circulating the air cooled at the cooling chamber 3 to the storing chamber 1, and capable of keeping the humidity of the storing chamber 1 of the potato so as to be same as that of the cooled air flowing in from the cooling chamber 3 is installed, and the potato 7 is stored in the potato-storing chamber 1 of the storage house 6 for 3-6 months to increase the sugar content of the potato 7.</p> |
