<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-side image forming device compact and high in productivity. SOLUTION: An image writing means (an image forming position) 2 is provided for writing an image on paper delivered to a first conveying path 31 by a paper feeding means 4. Switchback conveying paths 33, 34 are provided for reversing the paper with the image formed on one side, and a discharge path 35 is provided for discharging the paper with images formed on both sides. The switchback conveying path 33 and discharge path 35 are provided adjacently to each other on the same side with respect to the image forming position 2. Switchback means 11, 12 and discharge means 12, 13 are driven by a common driving means which drives in a first driving state of allowing the switchback means 11, 12 to act in a paper discharge direction and in a second driving state of allowing the switchback means 11, 12 to act in a paper storing direction and the discharge means 12, 13 to act in the paper discharge direction.</p> |
