PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly and quickly transfer to a driving state by injecting the fuel limited with respect to the required fuel when an internal combustion engine is transferred from a non-driving state having a rotational speed of the internal combustion engine lower than a rotational speed of a transmission, to the driving state having the rotational speed higher than that of the transmission. SOLUTION: When a vehicle is transferred from deceleration to acceleration, a target average effective pressure Pe determined on the basis of a map is quickly increased in an ECU 21. On this occasion, the tailing of the target average effective pressure Pe is executed in two stages, and each parameter applied to the tailing process is determined when both conditions, that is, a speed is above a predetermined value, and an idle switch is switched from ON to OFF, are satisfied. A torque converter 14 in a non-driving state is quickly transferred to a driving state after pressing down an accelerator by quickly increas the target average effective pressure in a primary tailing, and then a secondary tailing is started in synchronization with the start of the transmission of torque to ensure the acceleration free from the shock.
